March 26, 2019,    Miyako-Jima,  Japan         74/183   -

We spent a relaxing day experiencing nature on this hereto unknown island paradise.  Main activities here are tobacco growing, sugar cane and beaches.  Donna and Rick from Colorado shared a taxi with us to tour the local sites.  One stop was a reverse aquarium ( Us in the inside ) which was accessible from shore and built with large viewing windows so fish can be viewed in a natural setting.

Local infrastructure is architecturally pleasing, built to normal Japanese standards.

Nice beach and rock formations

  1. Thank you again for this wonderful eyeball on Okinawa. It sounds like an amazing place and you've inspired me to go there in late May when I will be in Japan visiting Friends in Hiroshima and Yokohama. I think I'll stay three or four days. Great pictures again and thanks for sharing your adventure.
