Happy Valentine’s Day!!
Rangiroa is the largest atoll in French Polynesia and with a circumference of 280 km / 174 miles, it is one of the largest atolls in the world. The entire island of Tahiti and its peninsula could fit into the lagoon. It was formed as an extinct volcano slowly sank and coral built up around the crater.
4:00 PM tea was tantalizing again today. One of our servers, Ulga, was nice to poise for a photo.
Gabe Abelson gave a talk on comedy and his background. He is a five-time Emmy nominee who is a good friend of Seinfeld, Ray Romano, he knew or knows many of the comedians in the business. Was Letterman's number one guy for years and is working with Leno right now on a project.
Eight of us sat down to a Valentine's dinner in the Polo Restaurant.
Met Dick and Marryanne Duffley from Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island by chance when we stopped to say hello. We have several mutual acquaintances in Victoria!
Spent a leisurely day walking along concrete roads next to pounding surf and nice scenery. Will let the photos speak for themselves!
